What is the dress code?
Our wedding is a formal event! Feel free to take part in our wedding color scheme as well. You can find those colors on the "Dress Code" tab. Dressing in the couples wedding scheme is encouraged, not required! In addition to the color scheme, please leave white, creme, ivory or off-white to the bride.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! Free parking is available at Public Lot 20, located at 227 E. Edenton Street. Enter the lot from the E. Edenton Street side, then walk across E. Edenton Street to Haywood Hall and enter through the back driveway at the white picket fence. Please note this lot is free on weekends — and since our wedding is on a Saturday, parking will be completely free for all guests!
If you do plan on drinking, our venue is right in downtown Raleigh and should be walkable from most hotels listed on the travel tab.
Are there hotel blocks reserved for guest who are traveling?
Absolutely! The couple has reserved several hotel blocks with discounted rates all with locations that are walkable to the venue. Please reach out to Caelan directly to inquire on availability!
What time should guest arrive?
3:30pm sharp! You will not be let in after 3:45pm as the ceremony will promptly kick off at 4pm. Plan accordingly!
What airport should guests fly into?
The Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Are my children invited to the wedding?
We are keeping our guests under 18 years old to close friends and family! If your child is not included in your invitation, it is mostly likely that we unfortunately don't have space for them. Feel free to reach out to the bride if you have any question on whether or not your child is included in the invitation!
What should I do if I'd like to bring a gift?
That's so thoughtful of you! With all of the travel involved in the wedding day, we ask for all guests to purchase any gifts or dedicate money to the honeymoon via our registry, as we will not have a gift table at the wedding. There will, however, be a card box! Thank you again!
When is the RSVP deadline?
We kindly ask that you RSVP before the end of February so we can plan for all our lovely guests to celebrate with us on wedding day.
Am I allowed a plus-one?
If you are given a plus one, it will give you an additional person to RSVP for when you go to select if you are attending the wedding. If you don't see a plus one and would like to bring one, please reach out to the bride directly. Plus ones are NOT Guaranteed.
Will there be an open bar?
Duh.
